This procedure is known as a "double-opt-in" It is used to prevent someone from subscribing an email address to our 'Submit' box that is not theirs. This way, only those visitors who truly wish to receive our newsletter will be able to do so after they receive our confirmation email and click to CONFIRM within that email.
